Therapy Session Cost

Therapy books are closed for 2024: Please note my books for therapy are closed and I am not waitlisting clients. Unfortunately I am unable to provide referral options at this time. Please do not email me to check my availability as my website is up to date.

Adults only: Please note I do not see children for therapy or assessment and am unable to provide referral options at this time. I do not do family therapy or couples therapy.

Assessment: I am taking assessment referrals and booking roughly 4 months in advance. Please read here for information regarding assessments.

From January 2024

​

Cost $270 per 50 minute session.

NDIS self managed clients $270 per session.

NDIS plan managed clients $214.41 per session.

Mental Health Care Plan

​

If you would like a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP), please visit your GP prior to making your appointment. This will entitle you to a Medicare rebate on your sessions.

​

Medicare rebates with eligible MHCP's are $137.05 up to 30 June 2024 and $141.85 from 1 July. This means an out of pocket fee of approximately $132.95 up to 30 June and $128.15 after 1 July.

​

Under the current Medicare laws, individuals are entitled to 10 rebated sessions per calendar year broken up into 6 and 4 sessions (you will need to revisit your GP after 6 sessions or whatever your referral states).

​

Payment is required on completion of your session and Medicare will refund the rebate within approximately 3 days. Rebates from private health funds may also be available but cannot be used with Medicare rebates. Please contact your health fund for more information.
