Neurodiversity Affirming Supervision

Peers helping each other

I am a Board Approved Clinical Supervisor (AHPRA - Clinical level endorsement) offering neuroaffirming online supervision on a limited basis to those wanting to learn about:

  • Therapy with adult and teen Autistic, ADHD, PDA, and 2E clients with a variety of co-occurring issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, perfectionism, Bipolar, people pleasing, self-identity issues and so on including adjustments that are helpful for ND peeps.

  • If you also work with non-neurodivergent individuals, how you need to adapt your style to be of the best benefit for neurodivergent individuals.

  • Issues surrounding late identification and ways to support clients from teens to adults.

  • Identifying and working with attachment issues and parentification in neurodivergent individuals.

  • Assessment of Autism, ADHD, PDA, and trauma (including differentials) using a neuroaffirming lens particularly in internalised and highly camouflaged presentations and in people with multiple diagnoses (e.g., BPD, Bipolar, C-PTSD).

  • Report writing skills that utilise safe and neuroaffirming language that is not disorder focused but still reports differences sufficient for NDIS and DSP.

  • Reviewing of reports and co-signing.

  • Please note: to have reports co-signed we need to have an established supervisory relationship so I can get a feel for your style and how we might best work together. I do not sign reports without this relationship in place first.

Sessions are suitable for psychologists, counsellors, and social workers.

Feel free to reach out if there is anything specific not listed that you may wish to discuss.

Appointments

Appointments are available online and largely on Thursday's and Friday's between 9.00am and 3.00pm Queensland time. At times, I may be able to offer sessions outside of these days, but it will be on a limited basis.

On first contact, I ask you to complete a form detailing our time together that I ask to be completed prior to our first appointment.

You will receive an email reminder 4 days before your appointment noting your date and time combined with a telehealth link.

My cancellation policy is 48 hours before your appointment time otherwise you will be charged a fee (50-100% of session cost). This is because I only take a limited number of supervision appointments and have set this time aside for you.
