Psychological Services

Services I offer, who I work with, therapy modalities used

I support clients via in-person sessions at Pullenvale or via telehealth (video). For those wanting face-to-face sessions, I work on acreage with a calming view outside and no other people on the premises other than clients, many of whom never see each other.

I work with individuals from 17 years old with a range of complex challenges such as late identification of neurodivergence, anxiety, depression, trauma, self-identity issues, and interpersonal issues. I also assess individuals for Autism and ADHD.

I have a special interest in working with neurodivergence, Twice Exceptional presentations of neurodivergence, and issues stemming from late identification. I also love to work collaboratively with my clients to help them see ingrained patterns of beliefs and behaviour that are preventing them from flourishing in life. Finally, I have a special interest in attachment theory and the difficulties we can have in interpersonal relationships due to our individual attachment style. I enjoy helping individuals develop a solid foundation of self that they can then share with the world.

  • Autism, ADHD, and PDA

Mental Health Care Plans

If you would like to obtain a Medicare rebate for up to 10 sessions a year, a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) is required by your GP prior to your appointment. Sessions are usually broken up into blocks of 6 and 4 sessions. You will need to revisit your GP after each session block.

After the session, payment is made and then I claim your rebate, which takes approximately 1-3 days to be deposited into your bank account.

A little about me ...

I am a multiply neurodivergent clinical psychologist with a special interest in therapy and assessment with neurodivergent adults, particularly those that are gifted or suspect they are gifted

I create a safe and nurturing environment where you can be free to be yourself. I have a no nonsense and informal approach that people seem to like. Authenticity is extremely important to me.

My SPINS are learning about myself, psychology, human behaviour, neurodivergence, sport (golf, NBA, cycling, tennis), Brooklyn 99, airforce aircraft, muscle cars, and animals.

Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions.
